More on keeping web logs with my students

I’m slowly revising my thoughts about this.  Maybe a communal bulletin board is a better option?  That way, I can limit who gets to put on what while still retaining some key elements:

  1. Writing for an audience – In this case, their fellow students (and yours truly).
  2. Seeking feedback – Asking people to offer their thoughts seems like a good exercise; certainly one that correlates with a more civil discourse than what we are often encountering.
  3. Giving feedback – Same principle as #2, but with the added benefit of making this process more active and engaging for everyone involved.

Fun stories that may or may not bear relevance to what I’m talking about here?

All are welcome.
